This heavy-duty unit features a 4-wire element RTD sensor inside a 316 stainless steel stepped-down threaded thermowell (3/4 inch NPT). Specifications from the included factory certificate of conformance list a 5-inch immersion length ("U"), a 1.75-inch lag length ("T"), and a 6-inch stainless steel nipple/union/nipple extension ("A"). The sensor is built into an explosion-proof large aluminum connection head assembly carrying an Appleton GR-EFHC O-Z/Gedney GUA Series junction box housing (Type 3 & 4 environmental ratings; Class I, Groups B, C, D; Class II, Groups E, F, G).
